Full Training

For the horse
Horses in full training are worked with every day. Health,  fitness and balance are our priority in maintaining sound equine athletes. Arbor Grove Equestrian ensures all aspects of the horse's care is provided seven-days a week. 

Arbor Grove Equestrian horse training follows the successful methods of the American Hunter Jumper Association and guidelines provided by FEI, Fédération Equestre Internationale.  Each horse has an individualized program based on their needs and goals, incorporating an appropriate balance of flat work, jumping,  turn-outs.

For the Rider
Riders in full-training participate in up to three (3) lessons a week, designed to create well-rounded quality horsemanship and prepare riders for competitions. Standing lessons focus on areas listed below.

• Exercises, gymnastics, and horsemanship

• Flat work and competitive equitation

• Jumping, courses and show-preparation

Beginner Lessons 
Our beginner program offers a fun and enjoyable for riders of any age. Come learn how to ride and care for horses in a safe and comfortable environment with skilled and knowledgeable instructors. Our well-trained, seasoned lesson horses are perfect for the beginning student. Ponies are
available for younger children.
